It all began in the company premises, a real “workshop"in a sector that, at that time, was considered an unknown world, in a historic moment where someone who used to talk about safety at work was considered as alien as a Martian. But the foresight and the ability to look beyond were the basis for the success!
This is the mentality and the vision that led Gino Sirci to start his adventure, founding Sir Safety System with the great enthusiasm that nowadays, after more than thirtyfive years, still inspires him every day and distingueshes him from his competitors.
The Company, initially born as a one-man enterprise, was joined by Francesco Sirci’s support, Gino’s trusted brother, always by his side to lead Sir Safety System to its actual prestigious position. At the same time, the Company moved to larger premises in Assisi’s Industrial area, driven by the need for wider spaces, due to the work’s constant increase. The Company began to assume a more defined identity.
Customers’ needs started to become increasingly more diversified and complicated to accomplish, thus leading Sir Safety System to the decision to start manufacturing its own workwear. This allows the Company to meet all customers’ demands in a direct and faster way, and to give free rein to the management’s creative mood, through the creation of brand new experimental products, aimed to explore safety’s world, still to be discovered.

In order to certify the quality of the work carried out by Sir Safety System, the Company obtained the Quality Certification ISO 9002. A prestigious award that only a few companies in the sector can boast, but that in the safety’s sector in particular takes on a special value, becoming the synonymous of great reliability. Safety clothing must provide protection to the workers, and Sir Safety System’s really do it!
It’s an historic year for Sir Safety System. Indeed, the first building of the actual Company premises was inaugurated. The structure symbolizes the real icon of Gino Sirci’s mentality, aimed to the research of maximum quality, in order to provide the employees with a welcoming place and making daily work a happy experience.
Italy is not enough. A great Company must have greater goals. Thus, the Company starts to export abroad and to compete successfully in the global markets.
The biggest market share is mainly coming from the industrial world, whose beating heart is Northern Italy. Managing more closely the great amount of work coming from that area became necessary, consequently, a new branch was opened in Cusago, in the municipality of Milan.
Another important step for the Company, in an era of globalisation, the needs of internationalisation require new solutions. Brand new production facilities were established in Timişoara, Romania. Sirtech was born!
The products gather more and more approvals, furthermore, the new millenium’s economic growth increasingly ask for more products, strictly with prompt delivery. The Company keeps in step with the times and triples the warehouse’s surface with the construction of the second building. The brand new slogan is: deliveries in 24 hours!
Sir Safety System became a SATRA’s member, international organisation concerning safety, gathering specialized staff, allowing the Company to be always aware about legislation and latest updatings about safety at work, field in constant growth.
NEW PRODUCT SERIES
Not even the economic crisis that have affected Italy and Europe couldn’t stop the growing success of SIR’s products and clothing, that kept gathering approvals thanks to their quality and reliability. This led to a further expansion of the Company premises, finally reaching its actual size, with the construction of the third building and with the opening of the Company Store, intended for retail sale.
Sir Shanghai is receiving day after day positive feedback about the quality of its products, an innovative and distinctive design and a professional customer service: some of the pillars that characterize the Brand.
The current framework is showing a Company that is exporting to over 30 Countries in the world, with an overall production capacity of 5.500.000 pairs of gloves, 400.000 pairs of shoes, around 5.000.000 garments and over 1.000.000 PPE. But above all, it is showing a Company that day by day improves millions of workers’ lives!
